Portland and Eugene Both Top Ten Green Cities

Good news for both Eugene and Portland - they’re both on the list of the top 10 greenest cities in the country, coming in at number one and number three, respectively.

The Green Guide took a number of things into consideration in making their list, including: Air Quality, Electricity Use and Production, Environmental Perspective, Environmental Policy, Green Design, Green Space, Public Health, Recycling, Socioeconomic Factors, Transportation and Water Quality.

Other cities on the list included Austin, Texas; St. Paul, Minnesota; Huntsville, Alabama and more.
