Nick over at Extra MSG mentioned this PSU article today and I had to add my two cents worth.
In it, the student relied on the sage on-the-cheap foodie advice ‘if you can’t eat there for dinner, eat there at lunch’ (he missed the happy hour 411 for students of an older age - of which there are many at PSU).

Portlander’s Columbia River Gorge mecca Hood River has made the magazine pages at Budget Travel. Frommer’s monthly pub commented that Hood River, with its population of less than 6,500 people, is one of the coolest (and we don’t mean only when the wind whips through!). Cool Hood River, Oregon.

Now, I’ve only been there for Happy Hour, but Fenouil is getting in trouble with this horrendous customer serivce. I usually don’t post up links to reviews of meals I didn’t experience, however, Food Dude holds high standards and his check-ins with two parties is good enough for me.
