Review: Find karaoke downtown 6 nights a week (they’re closed on Mondays) in the Boiler Room, a cubby-hole bar in Old Town.

The Boiler Room screams ’standard nightclub’ with a too-tiny dance floor and L-shaped bar. However, it’s got two extras going for it - a stand-up comedy hour at 9 p.m. on Sunday evenings and the ability to make any girl that’s had too many drinks think she’s the next Britney Spears. I’ll let you decide if that’s a good thing.
